Spider Plant (Chlorophytum Comosum) is effective at removing formaldehydes, and tests have shown that it can remove more than 95% of the carbon monoxide content in a room.

UK Aware Eco Event

Went to the UK Aware eco event at Olympia yesterday with Karen from Karavan Eco (Lordship Lane, East Dulwich). It was a very small event but that actually made it so much. Often, exhibitions are so large that they are exhausting and much of what is there is replicated. here, there were very niche companies and organisations thst made an exciting day out. I bought 2 shower heads from EcoCamel. The handset replaces the normal shower head and it restricts the water flow. That saves money in the first place but that also means the water going through the combi boiler slows down so gets hotter. That means you can turn the thermostat down as well. Then air in introduced into the handset to aerate the water which makes the water “wetter” as well as much more powerful. result, I have a better and more effective shower that will save me about £200 per year on water let alone the heating of it. It’s a no brainer really. So why did I buy 2? The other one was for my treatment room so that Skinbuddy waxing or colonic clients can also enjoy a fantastic shower experience after their treatment.
Lots of other information available as well and we found a few new places to advertise our respective businesses. Karen will be holding table days outside her shop on Saturdays in the very near future once a month.
